Tomorrow, around 11, we're doing a farmstand in front of Cafe' Doris. We'll have a bunch of cucumbers, tomatoes and kale. At the same time, I think there is a free-swap thing at the Brown Center. Come see us!

Yesterday, Patrick and I set up a farmstand in front of Cafe Doris. Though it was only a modest harvest, we still had a good deal of people interested in, and willing to buy the food we've been growing. Now that the tomatoes are finally ripening, we're looking to do it again, soon. I'll post when we do.

Some time in the week of August 11th, we're going to be preparing another bed (that means tilling and sifting rocks) for fall crops. A few weeks ago we cut down the big metal kiln that previously dominated the space. We'd love any help we could get to make the ground ready for turnips, chard, and spinach. If anyone wants to volunteer and has any specific days off around that time let me know. Otherwise I'll send an email or post closer to that date.
